Stacy La (b. 1984, Seattle, WA) is an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work spans community-oriented murals and abstract art, focusing on accessibility, participation, and creative empowerment.

La’s practice centers on the shared experience of artmaking. She explores how collective creation can bridge individual and cultural narratives, transforming public and private spaces into reflections of community identity. Through scale, texture, and intuitive mark-making, her abstract compositions investigate the emotional resonance of color and gesture, often blurring the line between structure and spontaneity.

Her murals frequently emerge from collaboration with local residents and children, reflecting her belief that creative expression should be a common language accessible to all. Each project becomes a dialogue between artist and place—an evolving record of connection, rhythm, and belonging.
